Free Folder Hider, as it name reads, is an application designed exclusively to make a folder invisible, where files can be secure. Hide and password-protect files, folders, pictures and documents in a blink.
During the installation the password for accessing the program has to be set for it to be protected from the beginning. The user interface is very simple and easy to use, being mostly self explanatory.
To add, open, lock and remove folders from the private protection list use the corresponding buttons. For other settings, you will find more information in the comprehensive help file included.
Run the application and enter the password, immediately after that, you can add a folder to the private folder list, and it will be protected right away.
When trying to add another folder to the private list, a window pops up suggesting you to purchase the program to protect more than one folder. So if you want to protect several folders you have to pay 19.50 dollars.
Not really the best choice on this type of software, plus it only works for NTFS discs. |
